Happy Thanksgiving Sweet Friends!

I thought this would be the perfect time to write my first blog post and thank all of you for helping to turn my dream of owning a beautiful nostalgic candy shoppe, into a reality. In just eight short months of opening the doors to Lola’s Sugar Rush, we’ve accomplished so many sweet things! We’ve been voted the #1 Gift Shop in Colorado by Channel 7’s A*List; The Food Network’s “Unwrapped” has used the shoppe as a set for two of its shows airing in the spring 2010; We raised money for Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and Escuela de Guadalupe (a private dual-language school very near and dear to me); We’ve started hosting customized birthday parties and creating fabulous all-occasion gift boxes and baskets available online and in the shoppe. We have also received a lot of attention from the press. But the sweetest thing of all is we’ve managed to put a smile on the faces of countless children and adults. What more could a sweet tooth, nicknamed Sugar ask for!

So thank you, thank you sweet friends and family for all of your love, support and encouragement…. You make Lola’s Sugar Rush the sweetest place on earth! Have a wonderful holiday and if you’re looking for a fun way for the whole family to kick-off the December holidays, join us and all of our sweet friends , in historic downtown Littleton on Friday, November 27th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm for our annual candlelight and tree lighting ceremony. It’s a magical way to ring in the holidays with family and friends.
