I want to give a big shout out to all the sweet friends that joined Lola’s Sugar Rush Team on October 2nd to walk, run, and sleep for a cure to breast cancer! This is the third year we’ve joined Denver’s Race for a Cure and our team has grown bigger and sweeter each time.
This year we had 17 walkers, 5 runners and 10 sleepers on our team. We even had a lil' babe named Paul in his stroller whose mom Selena walked with us while pregnant last year!
Lola’s Sugar Rush Team really stuck out in a sea of pink with our chocolate brown tee-shirts which read, Lola’s Sugar Rush is walking for a cure on the front and We’re so sweet we melt the concrete! on the back. Of course the lettering was done in strawberry and vanilla because those flavors rock on a walk with chocolate!
It is always so sweet to know that customers want to be part of our team. Thanks again sweet friends! It’s great to know that we will have had a small hand in beating this terrible disease!
